This was the very first thing I did after joining the Fall Guys team, started out by exploring a set of abstract screen transitions based on the Fall Guys world and how they might look merging into each other. From start to finish was around 2-3 days worth of concepts/motion design.
'Tail Tag' intro sting, quick exploration using motion graphics as a means to introduce the level and game mechanics while keeping a game show title visual feel.
End-of-level exploration leveraging a giant Jumbotron as a means of showing the end of level information, while also interacting playfully with the game world and character.
'Door Dash' exploration second title sting looking at expanding on the style used on the 'Tail Tag' intro. Using character animations created by me was intended as a placeholder to help communicate the overall sting.
'Fall Mountain' sting, the last of the title stings I explored for the early-level designs.
Created quite a few of these, exploring different styles and ways to introduce the level.
An alternative to the giant Jumbotron concept with a simpler transition to the game's home screen. Static character placeholder would have been great to see that Fall Guy dancing about while the animations played!
